Hemi is collaborating with Babypie, a liquid staking platform that allows BTC to be staked on Babylon and utilized across DeFi. This integration will enable Bitcoin holders to deposit their BTC on Babypie to mint mBTC, an ERC-20 token pegged to BTC on a 1:1 basis without accruing any underlying yield.

Through this collaboration, Bitcoin can function as a store of value while expanding opportunities for staking, trading, and engaging with DeFi on a global scale. Our shared goal is to enhance accessibility and utility for BTC holders within the decentralized finance ecosystem.
